The Swedish National Coach Association is a non-profit organization with the aim to safeguard and promote coach travel industry and its many small businesses. Part of this work is to remove many laws and rules that have been added in recent years and have created difficulties for the industry and an unhealthy competitive environment for industry players. The problem is that new rules and laws often are put into effect on the basis of a narrow point of view without taking into account the big picture and the possible consequences. The association was founded by almost 70 coach tour operators who account for about 70-80% of all the organized trips by coach in Sweden. The Swedish National Coach Association is working for industry development and advocacy both nationally and internationally and is a member of the RDA, EACT and Visita.
